Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University

Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU, ADNSU) is one of the oldest and leading technical universities in Azerbaijan, established as the country's first engineering-focused university. The university specializes in transforming oil and gas resources into human capital, training highly qualified engineers and specialists for the industrial sector. Over more than a century of history, its graduates have made significant contributions to the industrial revolution of the republic by implementing fundamental technologies and developing new branches of industry. The university comprises faculties of geological exploration, oil-gas-mining, chemical technology, petroleum mechanics, energy, IT and management, and economics and management. ASOIU actively develops international partnerships, offering dual diploma programs including with the University of Warwick, and cooperates closely with the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ). The university hosts research centers, digital energy laboratories, a library and information center, startup and technology transfer offices, and a career center. Its mission is to serve the Azerbaijani people and humanity as a whole through education, research and innovation, preparing engineering professionals ready to lead in industry and technology development.
